Amen brother – as a child I often searched my parents attic looking for my adoption papers. So convinced was I that some alien being had been my true parent – it’s not easy being unique and as you age you embrace your special qualities that the drones you encounter in your daily living think are “weird”. While “they” bore you do death with their sameness, you find yourself zoning out and letting your thoughts wander. That said, we are just who we are and we all have to live together in this world and work together and – if you’re anything like me – you hope that some of that piece of what makes you you – gives them pause to think “hey – maybe they’re on to something!” It ain’t easy when you’re a kid though.
